What we do

What do young makers do?

At Summit Makers, children are encouraged to explore ideas, try new things and create something they can be proud of. A maker is someone who asks questions, solves problems, designs, builds, tests, improves and shares their ideas.

3D printing projects

Children explore how simple ideas become real objects β€” name tags, keyrings, characters and useful little models. Children will not use equipment unsupervised. Staff manage all equipment safely.

βœ‚οΈ

Design and crafts

Colour, shape, pattern and imagination β€” posters, stickers, badges, bookmarks, cards, decorations and themed craft projects.

πŸ’‘

Mini enterprise challenges

Create pretend brands, product names, labels, prices and posters. A playful introduction to confidence, communication, teamwork and simple money skills.

πŸ’»

Canva and digital creativity

Older children may use simple digital design tools to make posters, product labels, logos, certificates or presentation sheets. Screen time is purposeful, creative and supervised.

🌟

Confidence building activities

Games, small group challenges, teamwork tasks and show and tell moments β€” helping children feel proud of their ideas and confident sharing what they have made.

Mini Makers activities

Crafts, stories, building challenges, sensory style making, colouring, simple design tasks, role play, confidence games and take home creations.
